I have had 3 and all of them were crap the starters are junk. the heads suck balls and i bought a new 2003 sts and 2 months later the piston slap was so bad that i had to put a new JUNK STAR in it. And after having a shop for the past 2 years and worked on over 20 i DO know ALOT about them:th_nanana:Quote:

im sure changing alot of parts on a V8 fwd is hard. what can you expect.
^^ and they were put in the manifold to cut down on noise and probally wasnt any space left. and if people were to do work theirselves then cost would be cut 300% and hell bmw has more issues than n*s but hell arent they both luxury cars.
and we went from a gtp vs a caddy to a northstar bashing lol. these guys love em

I thought so....according to the numbers-----2001 Cadillac Seville STS 6.5 14.8-----1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 6.6 14.9.....we're only talkin a tenth of a second....with the mods we can do, it should be no problem. STS's has about40-50 more horses!!!

:th_laugh-pointup: I dont lie. Im no teenie bopper. These numbers are on motor trend.com as well as motor week and car and driver (check youtube). The guy also stated that they were neck to neck until about 60mph. The STS's also has major wheelspin. When my buddy first bought it, he left a 10' mark on the pavement!
