I mean, I know what sri means, but I'm trying to figure out what's so bad about them. Do they decrease your mpg? Does pulling in more air even if its warm worse than that stock air box? Things like that. Also, there are wires plugged into a little plastic thing inside my air box, and no one seems to know what it is. That's the main part I'm trying to get help with. Number one, what the hell is it!!! And number 2 what can I do with it. Can I move it? Etc..... can u help. Its driving me nuts!

With no mods but an intake, the father away from the motor the better for you...when you step up to cam, intercooler mod levels...intake placement REALLY doesn't matter IMO. I have a cone bolted to my throttle body and it powns noobs

Blowfish-thanx! I tried to do a search, but nothing was coming up for me. But I did search before I asked. Blue and tdc helped me out on another thread and told me it was the pcm. I had no idea that's what that was. That makes thing easier knowing its a pcm and now I can search that. Thank u all for ur imput!!!

i think he pulled out because it was gonna be heads up, on a drag the more torque and hp wins, no real driving skill unless your shifting, you may have had your hands full doing a track like race, takes a lot more skill, knowing when to brake, how much to brake, then gas how much to turn the wheel, with the size of the gp compared to the others, you might have spun out and gotten hurt, so good thing on not doing the track run, but i think it would have been a good test of driving skill

I mean, I'm a driver. I've done stuff like that before. I'm not the best "shifter" in the world but I know how to handle a car/vehicle for that matter. I ride motorcycles, and I can shift the daylights out of that thing, but cars I can't powershift. Just not that good. But I have an automatic. I'm even giving him the inside lane. Idk why he doesn't wanna do it. I think he's stalling for mods or something. Its not that serious. I'm like you act like were on an episode of pinks!!! Win or lose this means nothing!

I put the pics on my profile!!! I don't know how to put them on the my garage thing. But if u click my name, go to my public profile, go to my albums, the pics are there!
