Hey guys. I plan on rims in future. But my tires are completely bald. I found these on Craigslist.http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pts/5163298098.html
    I plan on getting 18x9 245/45/18
But I need something asap. Will these do?

Why do they look like someone sprayed tire foam all over them? They seem to be a bit too small.

    Tire sizing

The stock tire size is 225/60/16. Here are the sizes for wheels that have the same overall diameter and that are most typical for people to run:

    235/55/17
    245/50/17
    235/50/18
    245/45/18
    235/45/19
    245/40/19
    245/40/20
    245/35/20

you need to find out what the hub bore is on the wheels. if larger then 70.3 you need hub ring spacers, if they are smaller then the 70.3 they wont work at all.

hub rings are cheap, like 10 for the set of 4. you can get them off ebay.

Even if the rims fit the tires are still too small.

Those would be about the same overall diameter as a 225-50 17 wouldn't it?

225/50/17 is too small too. 225/55/17 is the proper size there.

225/40/18 is only 25.09" tall. Stock tire height is around 26.7".

Well I'm running them since that's what the car had them when I bought it and I just replaced them, so until they wear out I'm going to run them (3.4" pulley to boot, hope I don't run into anything else). I know I'm about 2mph off at 65, so I'm racking up more miles than I should. When I get a tuner I'll change that, but for now I'm just going to run them.
