I've asked around a little and figured I'd make a thread to get a few more opinions, I'm running 2012 mustang wheels that are 18x8 +41, they currently have 235/50s on them that are down to 1/32 tread and I'm pricing out tires now, I originally was just going to go with 245/45s but I'm toying with the idea of 255/40s, I'm just curious if anyone has ran this tire size on a similar wheel and if they've had any issues with rubbing. I'll be going with BF Goodrich G-force sport Comp-2's since I can get a good deal on them, so this thread is more or less a fitment question.

no reason to go up one more width size, it'll gain you nothing.

    stick with the 245/45.
