For the price you cant go wrong. The tires are going to throw the proper look off though.
Yeah, think those are the stock tires. I plan to do something with a smaller sidewall after these wear out so that they are the same overall diameter as the stock tires on the car. Maybe a 245/45 R18. Sound about right? I imagine the mustang rim will fit that width of tire

Unfortunately, these tires still have about 50% more life left in them! Not complaining about some decent tires, but I'll be running with some slightly larger ones for a little while. The winter wheels will be the stock 16s. They will be a lot better than the low profile in the snow.

Won't clear in the rear. Spacer? Don't want to buy new smaller tires.

    Spacers made it work

They actually look pretty good with the color of your car. A 245/45-18 tire and a little lowering and the car would look just fine. Also contact reflective concepts to get you a center cap overlay to cover up that pony. Now don't go and paint them black.

Yeah, once these tires wear out, that will be the choice. Not sure when I'll get around to lowering it, but for now, it will do. Looked terrible with the stock silver crosslace wheels.

The emblem is actually raised, and it can be removed from the center cap, just like an emblem from a car. I'm giving those back to my buddy so he can put them on different center caps for his mustang. I was planning on painting the cap black after I got the emblems off, but maybe Ill check out this reflective concepts guy....

The center caps? I wouldn't mind having a Pontiac logo on them. I'll have to experiment with color. The other dilemma is either chrome lugs, or keeping the black caps on them like I have there. Might go chrome for the more finished and professional look, and i have leftover caliper paint, so they will be turning red here in a few weeks.

Thanks a lot! I couldn't beat it for some budget rims. $290 total (replaced the bad tire with an almost new one) and a set of spacers to clear the rear.

Yeah, everyone seemed skeptical at first, but I think it came out killer. I'll have a few more pictures up in a couple of weeks here. Have to polish the car, sand and polish the curb rash from a few of the rims, and do something with the center caps.

I also managed to break a stud when I took a rear wheel off. Damn thing went to the end, and didn't want to come off, so I gave her a few yanks, and wouldn't you know it, half of the stud came along with the lug. Oh well, such is life I suppose!

Yeah, would've loved a coupe, but this was the nicest car in a close radius at the time. I'll have to weigh them sometime when I take one off. Probably 4-6lbs more than the stock 16s with tires I'd guess

Yeah it's actually pretty convenient to have a sedan sometimes. Then people don't complain about crawling into the back of a car.

Tried, but they're about 1/8" smaller in diameter.

They are great to deal with. Would give the wheels and OEM look.

In regards to the lugs go chrome.

I might have to check around for some. Not too positive that ford made their wheels to fit GM center caps

I'm kind of torn between chrome lugs or keeping the stock black plastic caps, but chrome gives a much more "finished" look. I think I will have to see what I can figure out for center caps, because that will determine what lugs I use. At the moment I like the black center caps. I'll have to search around for pictures and see what looks good.

Either way I need to get another lug because I broke a stud, and I think it is forever stuck in the lug
