I made this chart back in 2008. Wheel width and backspacing is listed in inches. Offset is listed in millimeters.
Here’s how it works: If you are thinking of buying a set of wheels and the seller posts the width and offset, you can use the chart to find the backspacing to see if it will work on your car.
Example: a 8” wide wheel with 35MM offset has between 5.75” and 6” backspace.
Or, if you are in a salvage yard and measure a set of 9” wide wheels that has 6.5” of backspacing, you can use the chart to see that it has a 38MM offset.
The picture prints out okay as an 8X10 to hang in your shop or as a 3X5 pocket guide when you go shopping.
