So I'm gonna be getting a set of xxr 535s for the comp G this weekend and can't decide if I should get flat black or gold. I really want to try gold because I always see*black wheels, but I'm not sure if it looks good. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

And yes I know I did a crappy Photoshop in 5 min lol

I think that looks awesome. Do what you think looks best!
2004 Comp G "The Panda"- low, e85, big brakes SOLD
2002 Trans Am- 6 speed, bolt ons or something, it's slow.
2006 Silverado- forged ls2, 4l80e, plate kit, also slow...

Those look badass. What size are you looking at getting? I think a machined looking color like a dark silver or something like that would look good.

I'm getting 17x8.25 +35 offset. I wanted to get 18x8.75 but the 17s are on sale for 81 a piece and I just can't pass that up. They offer them in flat black, gold, or chromium black. I work at a body shop so I can paint them whatever color I want, but I was really liking the gold.

I'm not a fan of black wheels. But if there's any color car that CAN pull of black wheels, it's white.

I would go with the gold

Do they have the bolt pattern? I just looked at the page and didn't see any with our bolt pattern but I was looking at the 18's. I'm looking at wheels myself but I would definitely do 18's or even 19's but that's pushing it for me. Gold you might be able to pull it off with the white on the GP though...

simply because they are XXR wheels: nope.

do i like the style? yes. are the wheels themselves junk? yes.

and don't get less than 18s. 17s and less are tiny wheels.

Man go for gold, I think you'll be happier you did. And I cant believe I'm about to say this, but if you dont like the gold just plastidip them and get the same flat black look

Well my thought is I can paint it whatever color I want if I don't like it. But I'd much rather get the golds and see how I like them. I know what black will look like. It has black wheels on it now. I just think the gold will be something different even though I feel it to be a bit ricerish. And I'm with bio, I'm over black wheels and I hate black wheels against tires unless they are both spotless clean

I don't like the way gold looks especially on a Grand Prix.. Black well is black but should look better then gold. Just paint them purple and call it a day
