Whudup guys. So I tend to street race every weekend and I'm noticing my tires squeal a lot. I heard deflating the front tires to 32 psi for more grip, and 35 psi for the rear tires works. First question: Is this true? It makes a lot a sense from my perspective, but then again, I may be wrong. Second question: What would be the best tires with good grip for under $100? Also what would be the best winter tires for the best price. I know that was random, but I live in Minnesota where it snows 7 months out of the year. Thanks in advance

Whats your current tires also, I think 30psi is what ur supposed to be running anyway, at least thats what it says on the door. You're probably going to spend over 100 a tire for anything with better grip. Also running stickier tires puts more strain on the trans, please tell me this "street racing" is on a closed track/strip....

$100 a tire can get you a decent set of snows. It won't likely get you anything that grips better in the summer. You may want to consider working on your launches. You control the squeal
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

Thanks for the information. I currently have 16" rims on right now. Sorry I didn't clarify, but you are correct about the "street racing" is on a track that's near by where I live.

Street racing on a track? Ummm... Isn't that just racing? Also, I run all 4 tires 30-32psi.

For better grip you want to drop the front tires to about 25 psi or even a little lower. The reasoning is that letting the air out will let the tire squat a little and create more surface area and also help prevent wheel spin. It's the same basic theory why rock crawlers drop their tire pressure.
