What difference does it make if the car is lowered? The point of lowering the car is to improve handling and to make it look better. If you lower it and put smaller tires on you are not improving looks. People lower cars and keep stock sized tires on all the time. I did it to my Stealth. Its lowered probably 3" and I have 245/45/17 on it which are the stock sized tires.

Not everyone wants a five ft sidewall, otherwise theyd keep the stock wheels lol

And to your point, if you want shorter sidewall you get bigger rims, NOT smaller tires.

Only people ive seen lower cars w/o low pros are the ones that cant afford oversized rims. A bbunch o people cami their ride, doesnt mean it looks good or is a good idea

seen plenty of people that run a smaller diameter tire than stock, but it's also because they were trying to eek out that last quarter to a half inch and get the car on the ground.

i would never do it on anything that wasn't straight up dumped.
