Grippiest tires that last over 10k! go.

Even with "grippy" tires you will still smoke em up with enough power and you'll still hear them scream around corners if you suspension sucks ass.
You never gave a size for us to go by anyway.
Size?
ASSURANCE SRA'S are my favorite but they do not last long
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's, Continental ExtremeContact DWS come to mind.
Uhg. RSA's??? My CV LX Sport came with those in 17's and could be the worst tire I have ever had. All but dry traction sucked. Driving in the rain or even on wet pavement was just plain scary and any bit of snow, well, you may as well stay home. Can't count how many times I had the rear end try and walk around on me with normal throttle input. I ended up putting Toyo Versado LX's on it and it was a night and day difference. And no, the RSA's were not worn down. Just my personal opinion though.
Leadfoot- The Michelin A/S 3's replace the plus' so hopefully that issue is gone, seeing as how I just stuck 2 new ones on the front of my Vic, lol... Time will tell.
BFG G-force Super Sport. Run these on my wifes Camaro Z28. They are great in dry and wet. They also have a 35,000 miles treadwear warranty for the W rated tire.
Prior to these we had the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. The traction was not as good, they cost quite a bit more, and at about a year old they started chunking rubber everywhere. Michelin wouldn't do anything about it, but the local tire store finally warrantied them after some persuasion. I doubt I would run those tires again even if they were cheap. They are more expensive the better tires in the same size so I wouldn't bother with them. From some research and talking to other people who had them, it appears they are made with a harder than typical rubber compound for this type of tire (how they get them to last), but they have had trouble with getting the compound right which sacrifices traction and tread integrity.
I haven't had any personal experience with other tires offered in that size, but I have also been very pleased with all of the Yokohama tires I have run in the past on various cars.
40's are a bit too low if you ask me, but to each his own.
Bridgestone Portenza Pole Position RE970AS
not cheap, the size you're looking at will run around $275+, but stick like glue...
Wear rating is bull, got around 15k on mine and will have to replace them come spring time.
RSA's suck ASS. little dew on the road and you got no traction. my 06 3 came stock with those, they were LOL at best.
Agreed, RSA's are hands down one of the worst Z rated tires ever made. The Camaro came with them stock. I couldn't wait to get rid of them. Traction was the last thing they provided. When we got rid of them at 20k, the treadlife wasn't looking great either.
