i am looking for a more sport oreanted tire, i would prefer too have the Michelin pilot sport AS-3 tires the issue is the stock 225/60R16 tire size, the Michelin Pilot Sport AS-3 does not come in anything near that over all diameter with a tire with of 225MM even with 17 inch wheels, a tire and wheel size that i think would be close would be 235/50R17. a extra 10MM with would not really be that much of a large change, i am looking for increased traction but i do have some questions...

changing tire and wheel size i have several concerns, would this have extreme negative effects on my scrub radius, would it cause clearance issues with my fenders, would the lower profile tires cause excessive problems with ride comfort, what kind of effects would it have with my speedometer readings...

as far as wheels are concerned i am looking for something more sporty, not so much bling, a look similar too a flat black wheel with a chrome strip near the bead of the tire, something with more "Feathering." spokes i guess something BBS wheels are more known for... as i will have too also change my wheels too accommodate this.

    any thoughts? suggestions?

I run the pilot sport a/s plus on my car which is what the as3 is replacing best tires I've had. first gear is usable again, and they grip in the curves like crazy best part they come in 225/60r16

They are great on dirt and in the rain my car never gets near mud or snow so can't comment on that
