17x7 5x114.3 +35mm offset These will look and fit best. The site you posted didn't give me the offset.

The lower the number, the closer to the edge of the fender. Do you remember the Pontiac commercials? Wider is better!.....to an extent, and by extent I mean your fender lip where the tire will hit. lol

It all depends on wheel width and the offset. A 7" wheel could go to +25mmish even.

hm, nice. i just want some wheels that i feel comfortable putting 245s on so i can drive my car like i stole it without worrying about rolling a bead. i beat the crap out of my 245/50/16s a couple years ago, but still.

how well will a 17x9 fr500 wheel fit on our gp's? the offset is +24.
what tire would fit on this rim as well as the fender well of the gp?
    just wondering for spring.
These will fit as shown in the pics from snow99dohc. I have 18x8.5 +35 offset with 245/45-18 and they sit close to flush with the fenders. The above FR500s will stick out 17mm(.66 inches) more than mine and give you 5mm more clearance inside. Here's a couple pics of where mine sit:

my car is lowered, all the fenders are rolled. i had some 19x8 mille miglias with 245/40/19 on em and they rubbed pretty bad.
how do yours fit, you have the 18x9s right?
I can't judge by this unless you know what the offset was.

there are +30 offset for the 05+ fr500s or there is a +40 for the gt4s. eh, i hate rim shopping. i want like 30 sets and ill just change them every day of the month. hah.
Assuming you are talking about the Amer. Muscle ones you moved up to 18s? The 18x9 +30 offset FR500s will stick out 11mm more than mine (pictured above) and 1mm less inside clearance. the 18x9 +40 offset GT4s will stick out 1mm more and have 11mm less inside clearance.

Obviously if you wanna stick with a 245 tire you're gonna want 245/50-17s or 245/45-18s to stay as close to correct as possible.
i beat the crap out of my 245/50/16s a couple years ago, but still.
Definately wrong tire for the application as they are an inch smaller in diameter. It's generally suggested to stay within 3% +/- or less when choosing a tire. The closer the better.

I agree with Vinnie as well on a 7 inch wheel you could go down to the +25/+35 range and 8 inch to +30/+45 range and 9 inch to +30/+40 range. These are not exact or set in stone just a general opinion.

Good luck and post up some pics when you get them.

probably wont be getting anything until spring, but its always nice to look around.

i may end up trying to find something similar to a gtx wheel or the 04+ se wheels. who knows.

9" is about as wide as you want to go.
