Just wondering if anyone here has ever powder coated their anniversary or special edition rims? I searched and came up blank.
I'm toying with either black, gunmetal, or a charcoal. I know black looks like a steelie in motion. I just hate the hideous factory chrome on these.
Here is how the car sits right now.

Only other option would be a set of torque stars in a color mentioned. I'm not sure if i'm sold on the anniversary rim style...

The 40th/SE rims are the fugliest rims for GPs. I would rather run Snowflakes or Crosslaces than those any day.

multispokes look good if theyre HUGE. tiny 16's wont look great, considering theyre already chrome (so they appear bigger from a distance). i say sell them to some local buick owners and get some dirt cheap t-stars to coat.

I also tired of my chrome SE rims. So I changed things up with a set of gun metal torque stars. Here's some before and afters.
