Im looking to pick up a set of PreGens, the 5 spoke ones. I have pretty much lined up the sale. I have questions though.

    1. I have seen that people run them when lowered but with a wide tire, like a 255 is there any rubbing when you have weight in the car, like 4 full size males.

    2. Will they clear Fbody front brakes and GXP rear brakes

3 if I strip the paint of them is it aluminum under there? and if so can it be polished and clear coated?

    Thanks!

they are a real pain to strip. i had mine sandblasted and it took about a hour per wheel. they shouldnt rub unless you have some thick ass trailing arms. for the brakes i cant help you there

255 would be too wide and would rub if you didnt do something with the fenders.

The stock 225/60 tire shouldnt rub at all even when lowered on says SSC/vogtlands/eibachs springs.

They should still clear the brakes because its still a 16in rim.
