Does anybody know if you the 04-05 17" rims will fit on a 2002 GP? is the bolt pattern the same and stuff? Also does anyone have any pictures of this, I really like the rims themselves and was thinking about making the switch now that I finally need new tires soon. Thanks.

Thanks for the help guys! Really? It's a shame about the peel. I was afraid of that cuz my dad's 07 Avalache rims look awful; the chrome completely peeled off like plastic over most of the rims. I've had good luck with mine. The chrome is just mild/moderately corroded but no peeling on the 97-03 5 star chromes. I just really like the looks of the 04-05 twisted star and want something bigger than 16".

It usually happeneds on the inside of the rim and sometimes around the valve not so much on the face...or at least thats how mine were and the ones if seen. But the faces do shine up nice and dont look bad but i think the 17" split 5 spoke rims look much better.

GM made a TSB about the chrome issue in like 2009 or 2010, way after the rims you want were made sadly.

I prefer the silver painted ones myself.

GM decided to cheap out and stop triple dipping chrome rims. It blew up in their face.

Don't even think about em unless they are free. No matter how clean you keep them they break-out more than pubescent acne.
