hi im looking to buy some tires for my GTP in the next few days and i was wondering what tire i should get. when i bought the car last year i had to put front tires on it and they are already wore down and i have put less than 10,000 miles on the car. they was a cheap off brand tire so i think this time i will try some better tires. i would like to spend less than $150 each but i could go alittle higher if i have to. i was thinking of getting a set of Goodyear Eagle GT but if something in a diff size than 225/55/17 would work and look better i might go with that.. by the way the car is lowered 2"

    235/55/17's?

    245/55/17's?

    Give it a little meat.

It'll toss the speedo off just a hair, but not much more than a mph or two.

GYEGT's are pricey, I loved my Falken Ziex's I had on the Balt before my current one.

I had Bridgestone Potenza 225/60/16's on the GTP, along with Pirelli P Zero Nero 235/55/17's...both of those tires rode great, just kinda noisey.

The Conti Extreme 215/45/18's I have on my current Balt I recommend, because they are super quiet and ride amazing. Yet to know how they wear though as I've only put about 1k miles on them.

Personally I'm not a fan of Goodyears tires..our cars have had a few sets and the thread life has been terrible looked bald after around 10k or so.

    http://www.tirebuyer.com/tires/bf-go...e_pricegrabber

Love the BF Goodrich..came on the car stock when I bought it and gripped like no other. I put around 30k on them and still had quite a bit of thread when I pulled them off. Would of still rode on them but I wanted to upgrade my wheels.

Had Hankook Ventus V12 as well summer tires...gripped good on both dry and wet pavement. Had 20k on them. Then I wrecked the car and popped out 2 tires. Of course there summer tires so keep that in mind.
