The potenzas are a decent tire but wear quick and cup and feather very easily. The Bridgestone Turanza serenity is a very good all around tire

Alright here we go with opinions again. This is just coming from what I've seen.

If it were me, I would stay away from goodyear. They grip like no other on dry ground but have a terrible tread life, are known to seperate and blow apart. Potenza's grip great aswell, I've seen some last a while and others wear out quick and with being a directional tire, they can cup easy and often do.

One thing to think about here is that a high performance tire will not last aslong as a grand touring/all season tire. I really don't see a need to always have the performance tire on our cars, if it has power its going to rip any tire loose and its a w-body, its not made to take turns at higher speeds. It would push through a turn no matter what. Maybe think about your needs and think about getting a better all season that can still handle alot.

I really like the Firestone FR710's, great all season, lots of tread. Can be rotated in the normal fashion (modified X pattern)

As the guy above said the Turanza serenity, great tire I think. They do cost a bit more than some though. Avid touring S are decent.

    Hankook H418's are nice.

I like these tires because our shop puts alot of these on our type of cars and see good things with them. I am buying a set of FR710's myself here soon.

I have BF Goodrich g-Force sport comp-2 on my 04 comp-g and love them. Excellent handling on wet or dry pavement.

I've got the Goodyear Eagle GTs. Maybe 20k on them now? Way way way better than stock, do decent in rain, fine in snow. I get some tire spin in the rain making a turn from a dead stop if I goose the throttle. The tread wear is pretty gnarly, though... they will probably be bald by the time I hit 40k.

My next tire review will be of General G-Max AS-03.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.
