I've got a set of black saleens with a +30 offset. I was thinking of taking them to a machine shop and having a little bit of the hub "shaved" off some to give me a better offset. I've heard it could be done (depending on the wheel and how much is taken off) and was wondering if anyone here has actually done it and what would be a reasonable amount to take off?

    nnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

dont ruin those wheels. you have two options: run more camber to clear the fenders and to lessen the poke, or buy new wheels with a better offset.

why do you think i tell people the things i do about wheels? 18x9 +30mm do not fit for **** on these cars without other things going on that people dont like to do (agressive alignments, fender modifications, stretched tires).

They're ok, would just like to see them set in just a tad more. Just thought this may be an option. So I guess ill keep em how they are then.
