20s look great. These are big cars.
18s are as big as I like on Wbodies, now when you're getting into the old land cruise liners then 22s work on them.
Idk I like em on my car
Excuse me but erm. Damn the wheels for that matter, you got an 03... Return to sender immediately!! Trust me ;)
roll your fenders, didnt some guy make knuckle extensions to fit his 24s?
I've had others tell me of their 03 issues. I didn't base this opinion on my bad luck :)
theres issues with 03s?
Every year of every type of car has issues. For some reason, my cars just work. (Except for the STS that I had for 6 months and returned the damn thing) I've had three prixs: I had a 97 for 4 years only had to replace the CKP sensor. Then someone put me into a wall, totaling it. A 98 for 3 years that had nothing go wrong with it. Ramped it into a swamp, totaling it. And my 03 for 6 years, replace the bcm. Also, put 325k on my first F250 and 230k on my current one, neither have been to the shop. Though, I prolly just jinxed myself.
yay mod ford plugs
All I know is that when you run those 22"s make sure it has no lip on the rims and roll the fenders. i sold my 20"s after about 3 weeks of having them on because of rubbing issues. I rolled the fenders and it helped a bit but the choice of rim has a huge say on how it will sit on the car and how the car will ride with it. I know a guy that has done 22" wheels on a 00 GP and he was able to make it work.
Lip has nothing to do with it. It's all about the width, offset, and tire size.
I think bio has proved he know about rim fitment . And 20x8.5 don't rub
isnt offset a big part of the rubbing part?
Yes, very.
yay i remember something
I've seen 20's done tastefully and not tastefully. Try rolling the fenders like others have said.
