Im gonna run 245/40/18's on my 08 Grand Prix. The rims have a +40mm Offset. Anyone think ill have any problems with rubbing? Thanks
that offset is perfect. would look best in the mid-high 30s, but +40 is just fine.
Yeh I was thinking 30's off set but I really liked the rims...Oh well...I guess im stuck with them now...hehe
stock rims are like +52 or some ****, so anything down to about +30 is great. less than that has a high chance of rubbing.
You should be fine, especially with the lower profile tires you have. What width are the wheels? Not lowered? I rubbed on occassion with 245/45-18 on 18x8.5 with +35 offset lowered quite a bit. I gotta figure out my new setup still.
