I am thinking about getting these and having them anodized black so they are black chrome. What do you think? I like them because they have have a +36 offset and deep dish.

18X9 CHROME 36MM COBRA R DEEP DISH STYLE WHEEL

    1.

    OR just get these:

    OR
    3.

Or chrome and anodize these black:

    1) bullitts are weak. so set 3/4 = hell no.

    2) as much as i like the black cobra wheel, the one that is a consistant color looks better.

    3) how do you intend on fitting these on your car?

From what I understood Silverbullet had deep dish +36 offset wheels like these on his car. He said he had to roll the fender in the rear but it was good after that. These rims have the same specs as what were on his car unless I am not looking at something correctly? He said he ran a 18x9 +36 offset deep dish Mustang bullitt wheels. The only thing is that the place that made his wheels doesn't make them anymore (American Muscle).

I haven't gotten that far yet. lol My buddies dad owns a body shop so I was thinking about having him do it. If he doesn't want to or can't for some reason I was planning on renting one of those rollers (eastwood) or whatever. If that doesn't pan out I was going to try the heat gun towel and mallet way but only as a last resort.

Don't you think those wheels will fit?

I hope not. I will PM Silver again and see what he says. He said he was lowered on stock struts so I can't imagine mine would rub and his didn't.

I just like how they look. My car is an exact sister to his but his was newer. I do agree and like the 5 star better though. I am thinking black chrome would look really nice.

If I could find some light deep dish wheels with a offset that would push them out like the pictures above I would be all over them. I have been looking and can't find any.

I really want the deep dish though. Something about it I really like.

I am only on Vogtlands and AGXs so I shouldn't be too bad. He said he ran a 255/45/18.....That seems pretty big I might just do a 245

If I could find a set of light weight deep dish rims I would be all over them. I have been looking but can't find any with a good offset.

I can't find any with a 36mm offset and deep dish that look good AND are light.

why does it have to be that exact offset? there are lots of wide wheels with somewhere between +30-40mm offsets. that isn't going to make that much of a difference when you're gonna rock an 18x9.

Yeah...you're talking like half a centimeter...so less than half an inch.

If you go from a 17x8 +42, to a 17x9 +35, the latter set will only go out 7mm + a half inch....

With the same width wheels, that's less exaggerated.
