Thread: will this rim fit

Will this rim fit, or will there be rubbing? I have a 98 gtp and its not lowered
5x114.3 bolt pattern / 18x8.5 size /Offset +40

What size tire?

245*45

Kind of a stretch for 8.5"

255/40 would prob be more appropriate

I think it might fit.
You may want to roll the fenders.

Would a 245*40 work, it wouldn't be as wide

I have 245's on a 9" wide wheel. 245's are perfect for a 8.5" wide wheel.

LOL nixon, hell no. a 245mm wide tire is well over 8.5" wide. hell, it's almost 10" wide. even the 225 stock width tire is over 8.5" wide.

run the 245/45/18. that wheel size and offset is perfect for a non rubbing setup. you'll be great.
