Working with a small budget lately seeing how im working part-time and back to school with 2 small kids. My buddy gave me the 18" rims that were in bad shape. Chrome flaking off pretty bad. I just painted them and got some cheap Nankang Ebay tires 245/45/18. They re off to get mounted and balanced. cant wait to see how they look on the car.

Looks good. Let's see some pics with them on. If anyone gave me a set of wheels, three of them would be bent. lol.

Well they are not prisrtine by any means. They are 20 footers. "Look good from 20 feet" I had to put 4 new wheel hub assemblies in my wifes car yesterday and new brakes as well so these got dropped off today to get the tires mounted. Ugh.

I'm curious to know how those tires perform and last compared to others in their price range.

Ive been using all kinds of cheap ebay tires for years on my cars i cant say how they last on my cars because i alway burn them up driving like and asshat. Ive used federal, nankang, milestar, achillies, and acouple others i can remeber. My wifes pacifica has some off brand on it now. I just rotated them and they are still good after 2 years and appox 35k. She has a 50 mile round trip commute to work evry day.

I imagine you get what you pay for, but as long as they work safely, that's all I care about.

Yeah on some of them you can tell the finish product isnt as nice. Like you can see little flaps of rubber they did not remove after it was removed from the tire mold. But as far as performance my butt o meter/driver skills are not sophisticated enough to really tell. Maybe the nicest tire i ever had were some bridgestone potenza SO2's or nitto.

Checkout my new 4x4. Looks good IMO. Now I have to gather the parts to lower it. Feels like a new car with the snow tires off it. They are Enkei LM1 's with a +35mm offset and 245/45/18 Nankang AS-1 tires. I have $348 into this.

Im happing with it for my DD it look sporty and goes like a son of a b*tch!! Still need to dial in the tune with the 3.2 on it now. So far Im at 15* with 2 degrees of knock from 4400 to 5000rpm I may go back to the 3.4 at 18*no knock if it gets worse and I can get it down when the weather heats up.
