Well I promised myself I wouldn't do it but after cleaning my wheels and seeing how bad the clearcoat was, I decided to just paint them. I figured if I didn't like it I could always hit up the junk yard for a set of torque stars.

Used Duplicolor Engine Enamel. This is the final product after letting the enamal cure for a couple weeks then sanding them and respraying. I need to get the tires rebalanced with stick on weights but I did remove the weights and spray the rims. Just sprayed the weights as well after.

My calipers. Very pleased with them since I didn't grind or sand them smooth like I have on my previous cars.

Lol some how I knew you'd argue them. I didn't think I'd like it at first but I honestly kinda do. Especially with the lower bumpers being black, blacked out tails, and black grills. They contrast nicely.

    Tires are black.

    Thats contrast.

    Brakes are rusty.

    That doesnt count.

Finished them up. And I painted the calipers as well. Now I just need to tint the windows and it'll be good.

Looks pretty good. Do some black headlights to finish the front end. I recommend finding another set to take apart and paint them.

paint looks good on the rims. not a big fan of them on that color car tho. fyi your car isn't "tan". it is bronzemist metallic. same color as mine.

not trying to be an ass. just some info if you didn't already know.

ok. I should see if i have a pic of the painted bonneville sse wheels I had on my car. kind of sad I let them go with the car instead of the base 95 or 96 bonne wheels i have left now.
