Very nice! I am about to put the very same rims on my GP too! I have the pregen 5-spoke polished rims and was considering the 245/50-16 but after reading the posts in here, I may stick to the stock 225/60-16. This car is not my DD so I just need it to have a look that is aggressive and nice. I can't wait to see your pics!!

you can easily run 245/50/16 on those wheels since you can easily run them on stock wheels.

however, traction is going to be pretty similar and be more dependant on the tire youre running.

Very nice. I am going to try and go with the polished center caps and chrome lug nut covers with my polished pre-gen wheels. Not sure how that will look. I may also switch back and go with the 245/50-16 tires like Bio has mentioned.

Id like to also, but without it being lowered I think mine might look funny. Plus I already had 4 new sock size tires.

Funny u mentioned that, (I was just tellin my painter buddy about this) rustoleum makes a spray can lense tinter. I know, sounds cheesy. But as u can see in the pics it actually came out amazing! My buddys a big time custom car builder and painter and he was AMAZED!! Its nice, clean, smooth, gloss look that looks like a proffesional shop did it...for about 13 bucks a can. I only sprayed one coat, and didn't even scuff the lense up before painting! (I figured with results I've seen before with ppl spraying their own lights it wasn't gonna turn out well......I WAS WRONG!!!) I highly recommend this product to anybody wanting to tint their tailights!!

Where did you find the Rustoleum lense tint spray? I have perfect condition tail lights and am very leary about spraying them and messing them up but I don't want to spend another $150-$200 for a new set of smoke or tinted lights either. So, I was leaning towards spraying them myself with a lens tint. Your lenses look very, very amazing!

They ARE amazing! They look even better in person! I've NEVER seen a tint product that actually does a great job, until this one! I swear by this stuff, nor would I tell other ppl to use it if I didn't believe in it 100%!!

Car looks good, but no offense why are these so special, 90% or the cars your style in my area have these. Remember I'm fairly new to the GP world

Car looks really nice, those are the same wheels that are on mine. I'm not wasting 1000's on a new rim tire setup, imo it's a waste of money for what I need out of my car.

What size tires did you end up going with again? They look really good and so do the tails. How bright do they light up at night, maybe a few pics of that in the works? Seems like they wouldn't be bright enough because it looks like you painted them black

So, no prep work to your lenses...just sprayed them and they came out glossy looking like that?

This statement makes no sense to me whatsoever ?

You know back in the day when Chevy put the 427/435hp 4 speed in the vette? The reason the car didn't perform even better than it did was because it had bicycle tires. I've never heard of a bigger tire being worse for traction unless you're talking about driving in the snow

Maybe I'm missing some logic here but if skinny tires were better for traction they'd put 225's on the viper right?

Clearly bulging tires grip better than ones with properly sized wheels.

Clearly 245's are soooooo wide they will not be able to obtain traction in a 200hp car lmao
