Firstly, hello, all. This is my first post, I apologize for the "will these fit" topic.

My new ride is a 2001 Grand Prix GT Sedan, and I would like to replace the torque stars with something tougher-looking. Now, I've noticed that most people who want to deviate from the stock wheel size want to go with larger diameter wheels and smaller tires. I very much prefer the old school look of a smaller wheel and a fat tire.

The wheels I am looking at are Cragar 15x7's with + 24.5mm offset. I intend to have 225/70R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's mounted on them (raised white letters, of course, for the old school look). This setup will supposedly push the tire out by just over an inch, and end up 11mm taller than stock overall tire height.

My question is, given the taller tire and lower offset, will I be able to get away with these without rolling the fenders or having caliper clearance issues? Anything else I should consider before investing in the new shoes?

Dont think 15" rims will fit over the factory front brakes. Stick with 16" rims and go to a 245 series tire.

Agreed, you can fit alot of tire on the front with the right offset and size of 16" wheel.

As long as your still using the stock brakes, a 15" can fit. The base model SE has a 15" steel wheel with plastic hubcaps. The only question is, will the 15's you like fit?

These are the ones I'm looking at. 5 x 4.5" (114.3mm) bolt circle. The 16's have less offset and are far pricier.

Cragar 342-5712P Cragar 342 Series Black ''D'' Window Steel Wheel

If 15's can accomodate the stock brakes, I just need to know if the tires won't rub the fenders. And if the tires do clear, what's the widest I can mount?

    Depends on the offset

    And if you're lowered.

They are the 15's I mentioned in the first post, 7" and +24.5mm offset. Definitely not lowering the car.

No need for wheels under 16 Kuntzie had 285s on the front of his car think them were 18s and dont remember the offset either.

youre not fitting that wheel without rubbing on the fenders unless you roll them. the offset is way too low.
