just got my rims back, i wasnt happy with the near-black color the people i bought them from had them painted, so i handed them off to my friend who works at a powder coating shop and went with a lighter shade of grey than they were, still wanted the gun metal look though...

just gotta slap some tires on these puppies now

How much did that cost? Do they strip and clean aswell? Mine had a run in with a stuck caliper piston that sent hot metal into the rim. Id like to get them looking like this

    Nice.

Powdercoating FTW. Buff those b1tches before you put them on...helps like no ones business to reduce brake dust.

400 for four powder coated 18" wheels?

I'd say that was a deal....

I've seen a lot of paint jobs and very few impress me.

This one here looks pretty good from what i can tell.

Uber high rez pic would seal the deal really.

Nice color, and looks like they did a great job. I'd put on a few coats of wax before they go on, it will make cleaning them even easier later down the road.

One persons price on something can very on location. What sounds cheap or expensive somewhere might not be the case in your area. You have to factor in the cost of living among other things as to why prices are what they are. In a nut shell, it balances out when you think about it. Its basic economics.

But getting a good buddy discount is always helpful regardless where you live.
