+45mm offset would put it sucked in a little too far for my liking since its only a 7.5 wide rim, but would still sit about the same as the stock rims.
I just prefer a more flush look if I'm going to buy rims. Love the look, just food for thought on the backspacing![]()
Thanks for the quick feedback everyone. I LUV this place. Now as far as the backspacing goes, is there some sort of easy tutorial on how to do the math for offsets? I indeed do want it flush to the body for that nice smooth, finished look but how does the offset correlate to the rim width? By that, I mean, is there some fundamental ratio I should know for getting stock depth?
And as far as 17 or 18 inchers go, do any of you guys have 17x7.5 or 18s on? Any pics available for offset comparison? I've only seen extreme circumstances of deep dishers or monster truck wannabes but nothing really in between that is detailed. Damn... I ask a lot of questions![]()
