    20s look better.

however, have you looked into the sizing on the wheels youre looking at? in any form, saleens are going to be a very big wheel for you to run correctly. you will probably need to finesse your fenders to fit them well.

Well they are 18 by 9 and 20 by 9 so I thought the 20s would fit fine? O and the offset is 36 I believe on both if that helps

get 18's, those rims are damn heavy. also, dont get any offset under 36 on those unless you plan on doing some fender work.

Well those 18s look awesome but no I'm not lowered. It's on the list. If 20s are goin 2 create a problem then I can settle with 18s

The "load" that the transmission see's due to the weight difference between a stock 16" wheels weight and say an 18" or a 20" rim is negligible. It is much harder on a transmission doing burnouts especially when you have good traction. As our cars are reaching up to and well beyond 100K miles, and there is a lack of people who actually perform preventive maintenance on thier cars. A transmission problem may seem like it was caused by a change in wheel size and weight. And a mechanic at a transmission shop may conferm this, but the reality is that it wont make any difference. Change your fluid and filter regularly, and if your worried about the weight of a tire/rim combo then shell out the coin for Forged wheels whch are twice as strong and twice as light as a cast wheel. They are also about 1 1/2 times more in price. I agree with Bio248. 20" rims are the perfect combo of a large size rim and a good profile tire for our cars.
