    yeah. potentially.

i have no idea how much clearance you have right now. you're going to have 0.25" more, 3mm less. it should be okay, i'd think.

only one way to find out.

Haha alright I can make it work if its that little. So would they sit out to the fender more or be tucked in? Just so ik because my 42s were nice but id like it out a little further. So if I ran spacers would the 45 be equivelant to the 42 offset?

the offset is 3mm difference, so very minimal. the kicker here is going to be the 0.5" wider wheel. so they'll stick out a little more than what you have now, but not much more. it's going to be almost exactly the same for the most part.

a spacer would lower the offset, making it stick out more. if necessary to clear your brakes, that is. you can buy them in i think 3/5/10mm+ thicknesses, but i would never recommend anything more than 10mm unless you install some extended studs.

Check for loose suspension or steering part's first. Mine had the same vibration and turns out it needed lower ball joints, outer tie rod's, and pair of axle's.

I considered that but instead I just threw my stock rims back on and about all of the vibration went away

I've ordered from these guys and they do good work:

    http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

You just need to know the wbody hub and the mustang wheel bore.

    So would tires 245 / 35 / 20 with 20 X 8.5 with a +40mm offset, rub against the fender of a 2004 grand prix gt?

Stock ride height you'd probably be fine.

Hey guys I feel like this is a really dumb question but I'd rather ask it than regret it later after spending $600... But I found some nice 20" x 8.5" Giovanna Chrome Cuomo wheels that I really like to put on my 05 GP the guy on Craigslist says the tires are 245/35 and te bolt patter is 5x115 so that's all great but the offset I looked up is 35mm and on the first post is says 38mm is best give or take but then later it says 38-42mm for 20" rims. I'm assuming they would still fit but just wanted to make sure? Thanks so much!

I also noticed the guy two posts above asked about 40mm but I have little knowledge about rims especially when it comes to offset and what it is and does

3mm of difference versus my "recommended" isn't going to make a whole lot of difference. those wheels should fit fine.

If the center bore is the same as our, then yes those will be just fine.

If the bore is bigger than ours, you need hub centric rings.

    Thanks

I don't know the stock bore myself. My car is a Regal GS but I imagine both cars have the same bore?

Grand prix's and regals have the same hub bore. I'd have to look for that spec but I know it's around here somewhere.

Thanks, if you could find it.

I'm pretty stupid when it comes to wheel fitment. My wheel guy asked if the car uses studs or lug bolts??
