Hey guys, wondering if someone could help. Got a little lost with this thread as not sure what year GP they're dealing with. Anyways, I have an 07 GP GT supercharged (SE trim) etc. Not sure what Saleen wheels to look for. I see 99-04 and 05+ S Style wheels, whats the difference.

Im thinking about doing the 18x9's all around on my car, not lowered yet, but seems to sit fairly low anyways. I found a decent deal on a set, but they have an offset of 24....any issues with not fitting? I dont think they would sit out THAT far, and i think the guy here (milestone) has 24 offsets on his....cant remember?

Any experts here have any pics or knowledge about saleen wheels on an 04+ Grand Prix?

My car is black with black windows (dark tint) and thinking about the polished saleens. Any pics anywhere of this combination would be greatly hugely appreciated!!

a +24mm offset is going to rub, especially with the 'right' sized tires.

What do you mean "rub" guys? In the front back or both, or when have I have passengers or only when I'm lowered etc. etc. I want the wheels "flush with the fenders and figured the 24 offset would do the trick....surely SOMEBODY has done this so I dont have to be the guinea pig....haha.

these wheels/tires on this car are actually mine now. Im not lowered (I believe this guy was stock in back and ssc in the front, is what he told me). Occasionally they'll rub a tad if I have ALOT of weight in the back (full tank of gas, full two tier tool box, and packed with a bunch of other items!....don't ask. Lol) over big bumps. I prob wont be carrying that type of load again until I roll the fenders. But it does perfectly fine day to day driving! Im actually thinking of going with a wider tire cuz the 245's look pretty stretched on a 9" rim. Trying to decide what will fit...255 or 265. I think a 265 will be pushing it!

the wheels are going to fit similarly. the fenders are still not wide enough to accomodate the wheels.

Im running a 24mm offset on my 04, with a 265 tire, and lowered on SSC's. Ive rolled the rear fenders and only rub with a full load. And no, it doesnt look retarted. Since you are not lowered you dont have to worry about scrubbing. Never seen that combo on a non lowered car. But in my opinion it wont look to bad. I will post pics of my setup tomorrow when i get infront of my computer.

Thanks a lot Milestone, guys lets see the pics then judge! 97-03 GP's are different therefore the saleens will fit different If they look good (which I'm sure they do) then I 'll grab em Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

no. look at drunkies ride. he ran 18x8.5 +35 and was sitting FLUSH. ive never seen him running offset lower than 30, for good reasons.

now, hes on 18x8.5 +32 and look...

considering youre adding extra .5'' with lower offset, it will stick out nasty time.
