the bullitt on the monte is +34 offset. i think it won't be much of a notice between the +40 and +36. the +36 offset will stick out little bit more than +40 i believe.

silverbullet: how heavy are the 18x9 saleens?
oh man, i miss my monte. those cars are sick silver...
From americanmuscle.com
"The chrome Saleen replica wheels in 18x9 weigh approximately 28.1 lbs. If you have any other questions, please email back or call us at 8667271266. Thank you and have a great day!"
I think ill probably get these now...
Silverbullet, did you have to do anything to get the 18x9 saleens to fit, and where did you get them from?

like what bio said you have to roll the fender to get it fit. btw the tires i used on both cars are 255/45. here's where i got the saleen.
Mustang Body Kits | Hoods | Wheels and Mustang Accessories
From Copterdoctor on Clubgp,
"My car is lowered with eibach springs. I have to have full weight in the trunk, with 4 adults in the car to get the tires to rub the fenders."
He also has the +36 18x9 saleens.
Yup, i think youre right. He has 245's.
Is it true that rolling fenders splits the paint?
Also i guess once you roll your fenders, you just always have low offset wheels?
rolling the fenders will do absolutely no damage to the paint if youre careful and keep the fender hot while youre rolling it. if you do it old school with a baseball bat or you try the method that requires you to cut the fenders then youll for sure screw them up. the real way to do it (which is the way i did it) is to get a heat gun and heat up the fender/paint until it is HOT to the touch and then whack at it with a rubber mallet. keep the paint/fender HOT.
you do not need to run lower offset wheels, but the reason you roll the fenders is so you can. grand prix guys (and domestic owners in general) dont usually do a 'hellaflush' setup so you cant even say we push the limits of what we can do. i bet with a little bit of negative camber and pulling the fenders we can run wheels into the teens for offset.
this is 'hellaflush':
you dont see anyone around here doing that, which if someone did they would probably get laughed at which i think is stupid. i think the 'hellaflush' look is all kinds of awesome. i would love to own a car and get it to look that clean, but its very hard and im not sure i want to drive a car everyday like that.
