soooo i was gonna get some new rims after christmas.... but i found somewhere to finance them... so im gonna go ahead and get them... i wasssss lookin at 18's then some sweet 20's caught my eye... my future mods include full 3.4 setup... how much performance would i lose if i went with 20's instead of 18's..... before anyone screams tranny problems... im getting a TEP trans with my tax refund this comin year.

youll have a bunch more rotational weight going from 18s to 20s depending upon the wheel you go with, but id run a set of 20s anyway because it will look that much better.

Yeah that is your personal opinion and I respect that. I wanna see the wheels one you get them on the car. I would rather go with 18's because of the unsprung weight and I think it looks cleaner. I wanna get some 2k cobra r's for mine

lmao. cobra r's are crazy heavy and the offset is too low unless you know what youre doing to modify the fenders enough to not rub. have fun making that work, especially if youre going to try and run a tire bigger than a 245 wide.

If you mean by crazy heavy I found that weight to be between 27-29lbs and you can find 20's sometimes on the lighter side to be around the same weight but most are heavier. As far as the offset there is a guy on here with roushs for sale with no fitment issues running 245s I'm not sure if the offset will be the same with those and the r's, but either way rolling the fenders is not that difficult. After more research I think I am gonna find a lighter wheel. 245's are wide enough. gtpinsc you got it in your sig where's the pics!?

its the offset of the wheels, the width of tire you put on the wheel, and your camber that will decide if you can run the wheels. more negative camber means that you can go much lower without rubbing in the fenders. it looks kind of funny though. if you do it right the tires dont wear uneven or anything.

once you roll the fenders it only gives you so much room. cobra r wheels are 17x9 with a +24mm offset. i owned a set of these wheels, by the way. i was planning on running a 255 wide tire and i was lowered with my fenders rolled all around the car. i never got around to putting them on, but they were big and the fenders were going to be very close.

after you cant stop rubbing even with the fenders rolled its either new wheels or pull the fender out farther (which i think looks pretty stupid).

I CANNOT decide which ones... they both look awesome on the rim+car match thingy on the website.

i think both a fairly gawdy, but the black ones look a little better. you need to go 20s to make those wheels look good. if they were 18s they would be ugly.

I don't care for them, but if I had to choose, it would be the all black ones.
