lmao. cobra r's are crazy heavy and the offset is too low unless you know what youre doing to modify the fenders enough to not rub. have fun making that work, especially if youre going to try and run a tire bigger than a 245 wide.

Those 20's are going to look sick. Just make sure you do a brake upgrade for the extra weight. When I put 18's on mine, I could feel a difference in the pedal. Good luck with it man.

If you mean by crazy heavy I found that weight to be between 27-29lbs and you can find 20's sometimes on the lighter side to be around the same weight but most are heavier. As far as the offset there is a guy on here with roushs for sale with no fitment issues running 245s I'm not sure if the offset will be the same with those and the r's, but either way rolling the fenders is not that difficult. After more research I think I am gonna find a lighter wheel. 245's are wide enough. gtpinsc you got it in your sig where's the pics!?

its the offset of the wheels, the width of tire you put on the wheel, and your camber that will decide if you can run the wheels. more negative camber means that you can go much lower without rubbing in the fenders. it looks kind of funny though. if you do it right the tires dont wear uneven or anything.

once you roll the fenders it only gives you so much room. cobra r wheels are 17x9 with a +24mm offset. i owned a set of these wheels, by the way. i was planning on running a 255 wide tire and i was lowered with my fenders rolled all around the car. i never got around to putting them on, but they were big and the fenders were going to be very close.

after you cant stop rubbing even with the fenders rolled its either new wheels or pull the fender out farther (which i think looks pretty stupid).

I wondered why you knew the weight of them I mean honestly I know you have pretty vast knowledge of gps but to know something random like I was like damn this guy knows more than I thought. I just love the look of the rims on the car regardless of what it came off of. Yeah I want something that will not cause problems not need to have to modify the car any farther if it's not neccessary. I just figured because they were aluminum rims and they were 18's they would be light when they are actually on the heavier side. On to something else. On need to start wheel pic thread if there isn't already one and stop highjacking this guys.

Yeah my wheels are a offset of +18 an dont stick out at all. Dumb company sent me a wheel with a offset of +32 when i had to replace my wheel. Was pokin out like crazy. At gtp do u know what the offset of those wheels are? I think my width is 8.5 on a 245/35/20 tire gives it a real nice look an i didnt have to do any modification to have them fit. It just rubs when i have alot of weight in the back an when i go over a bump or somethin.

you do know that +18mm sticks out more than +32mm, right? so i bet your wheels are not +18mm offset because you would never stop them from rubbing.

maybe its negative -18?.. All i know is the offset is 18somethin me an goodyear had a lil trouble an they had to reinburse me a new wheel. They said the wheels on my car now are actually meant for a charger an the ones with a offset of 38 are actually meant for gps

if it was -18mm it would stick out even further. RWD offsets are low, FWD offsets are high. you start running into serious rubbing issues on our cars at about +30mm. therefore, there is no way the offset is +18mm.

i have no clue... told the ppl what kinda car i had and they gave me my options for what rims i could fit on with minimal to no rub.

Yea i jus checked my wheel to be sure its a offset of +38 at wheel pros.com. But im sure those arent my offset on my wheels because goodyear an the wheel company got into a real big arguement sayin that was the only size for my wheel when it wasnt. Mines are 11 or 18 one of the 2 i know for a fact.

he gave me a choice between 18 and 38. there is no way in hell they are +18mm offset because they would stick WAY out of the fenders. even getting into the high +20mm offsets the wheels stick out of the fenders.

yeah, those look maybe like +35mm. if he is correct in saying they are 20x8.5 i believe that the +38mm offset would be correct.
