Okay, so I hate to put up another topic about these, but the chatbox is down and I couldn't really find exactly what I was wanting... so....

I've been really looking into these, and they're 18x9 cobras with +36 offset. I was just wanting to be sure on the biggest (or closest to stock diameter of wheel+tire for gp) tire size I could go with without rolling my fenders at all.

youre going to have to roll your fenders anyway. they are a 9" wide wheel. there is absolutely no reason to run a wheel that wide on our cars ever.

But I thought you've said +36 offset on them would fit alright... What all does rolling your fenders involve? I'd just be really afraid to do it.

they SHOULD fit. depending on your suspension wear, the tire size, etc you might have rubbing issues. rolling the fenders really isnt that hard to do. just heat up the paint with a heat gun so that when you fold over the edge of the fender you dont crack the paint. i did my whole car with a heat gun, a rubber mallet, and an hour of time.

I still want to keep it stock because I don't plan to run the cobras in the winter, if I sell the car, if I want to get different wheels etc. Plus I wouldn't feel comfortable doing it, even if it isn't too hard...

Butas far as my suspension goes, it's a low millage car so I'm sure it's not too worn, and I don't plan on lowering it. So what max tire size do you think I could go with minimal rubbing, but still filling out the fenderwell enough?

255s max. you can stretch 245s onto 9" wide rims, but it looks like ****.

So in your honest opinion if I ran 255s without rolling you think I'd be alright?

yeah, with the fenders rolled. the guy is saying he doesnt want to play with the fenders. therefore, he cant run those with 255s and not rub.

Sorry I've been away for a few nights... I really don't want to, but let's say I did. How much do people usually roll their fenders?

with that wheel setup probably as much as you can. the whole lip all the way up. you might even have to pull the fenders a little to get them to not rub completely.
