Hey guys and girls i am wondering if anyone has any good information to follow on installing a hub assembly on a 2007 Grand Prix GT. I currently have 47000 on my car. I purchased a used hub assembly with 33000 on it. I could use some help or information on installing it. Thanks..

It shouldnt be to difficult of a job, if you know what your doing.

Assuming this is a front hub,

    -Remove the front wheel

-Remove Brake caliper, and hang with clothes hangar, not to put pressure on the line

    -Remove rotor

-Remove (36mm?) nut holding the axle on

    -Remove axle from Hub Assembly

-Remove 3 bolts holding hub assembly onto the spindle

    -Remove Hub

    Install in reverse directions.

I am going to try it within the week. It sounds really easy actually. I did get a used hub assembly it was only $65.00. A new one that i could find is around $187.00. I just thought that even a new one could go out at 47,000. I have had a car have 170,000 miles and never replace one. My buddy has 240,000 on his and he never replaced one. So i was thinking even tho its used i could take a chance on this one lasting forever also. Hope its a good idea.
