i have the torque star rims off of my 01 and i do not like how much tire shows on the sidewall.

Is a tire in the size 235/55/R16 the best tire to get? im so confused on tire sizes. i like the look of the polished torque stars but i dont like all that rubber showing. im looking for a tire size that will have a smaller side wall but still have a comfy ride.

245/50/16. go big or just get stock size tires.

or get bigger rims since youre oddly not a fan of sidewall...that helps the ride and makes the car handle better...

If you put lower profile tires on the TQ. Stars they look GAY...a guy around KC did it and it made his car look like a mexican-ized honda with 8"s

Fat sidewalls make handling worse, not better.

No...I like yours...I mean he had LOW PRO tires...I think that they were like 255/50's or something like this...

And his car wasn't lowered either...just looked like crap with this HUGE gap in there...

Yes, that is what you said...I was reading it a bit differently. I put the emphasis on the word "sidewall" here:

"sidewall...that helps the ride and makes the car handle better... "

    I understand now, thanks!

i am not lowered. so the wheel well looks huge. and the tire clearly doesn't look like the right size.

the front tires on those pictures are fuzion ZRI...they are a good tire for the price. a little loud on the highway, but for what you pay for them you cant beat it. they have a pretty tough sidewall too.
