Okay, I was just talking to a guy at a tire shop, he said since my GP is lowered, it would be best to go with an offset of 48 as opposed to 35. The wheel itself is 18x8.5 and he said that would be cutting it pretty close to the strut, and that he wouldn't put any money on them fitting properly.

I can't put a link to the wheel b/c I'm on my phone doing this in school! But the wheel is a "fast wheel; group A." in the hyper silver color.

I need some help from tire god (you know who you are!) thanks guys, hopefully I can get this wheel or at least know if this wheel will get destroyed on my car!

do the +36mm ones. +48 is the one that will rub the strut.

the only thing you might have to worry about is rubbing the fenders, but an hour with a heat gun and a rubber mallet can take care of that.

Isn't +48mm an extra 12mm away from the strut compared to +36 though?

the lower the offset, the farther out the rim will sit. the higher, the farther in.

But if I'm using a lower offset, (+35) don't I have to push the wheel further into the wheel to connect it to the hub? Therefore giving me less wheel on the outside of the car? Oh man.. So confused LOL

you got it backwards. the lower the offset is, the closer the lip of the wheel is to the fender. the higher the offset, the wheel will sit farther into the fender.

our stock offset is +52mm. most people with aftermarket wheels are in the +38mm range because it looks nicer.

Okay so a +35 will fit. This tire just says 35, this a problem?

what size is the tire? you probably want to stick with at least a 235 width. keep as close to stock diameter as possible.
