ok guys so the mustang rims i want are available in 18x9 with the +24 or +36 offset but i can find them cheaper with the +24 offset.....is the difference between these 2 offsets significant or no will they stick out way more or will it be hardly noticable?

the +24 offset is going to pretty much be the lowest you can ever go with offset and youll more than likely have to roll your fenders. it isnt hard, but it is just another thing youll have to take care of because theyll probably rub at that low of an offset.

the +36 will fit "better" and it's possible that they wont rub at all. they wont sit as flush to the fender as +24 will, but they will be more plug and play.

rolling the fenders isnt all that bad. takes about an hour with a heat gun (to heat up the paint so you dont crack it) and a rubber mallet. the hardest part will be on the first wheel well you start on figuring out how hard you need to hit the fender lip to bend it up.

so people have run 18x9 mustang rims with the +24 mm offset then? because im running what i believe are 17x8 with the 24 offset and i think if i lowered i would need to roll my fenders...but no rubbing issues now i hope 18x9's wont stick out rediculously

IMO, +24 is the best looking offset with our cars and those wheels. Rolling the fenders is easy enough. Theres a guy on my local board with +24 with Mustang wheels and it looks sweet.

i have +24mm cobra's in my basement waiting for some big meats. i already have my fenders rolled from when i rocked my 19s, so no worries there.

no, ill take close ups of the fenders to show how they are rolled.

too bad there is no one in my parking lot with a stock GP that i can just take a quick snapshot of for comparison purposes.
