What size QTP's are you guys running on stock torque stars? I don't know beans about tires, so I need all the help I can get at this point.

I think you are limited to these
Hoosier 17431 - Hoosier Quick Time Pro D.O.T. Tires - summitracing.com
All hoosier offers in a real slick is a 28 x 10-16
I donno, i've heard many GP guys (on ClubGP) swear by the Hoosiers and cuss out the MTs.
Shaferz was running these at Branson...
Opps! Just noticed there 15"! Could of sworn they were 16"
I plan on doing the same thing Brian, running QTPs on stock torque stars. LMK, when you get setup. I curious where I can pick up a set the cheapest. I still don't know whats the best size for me to get.
But RWD and FWD cars are totally different animals altogether. A tire that sticks good on a RWD doesn't mean it'll work good on a FWD car period. Trust me, i've experimented with this theory myself.
Well, I wouldn't have anything against the MT's either...I just remember way back that everyone had a hardon for the QTP's.
Basically what I'm looking for, is a slick that has a compound that doesn't take much to heat up. Nitto's just take too much time, and half the time I drag myself out of the water box before they've had time to cook.
Hoosiers are quite good. Fastkatt had used a set when I owned them... he went from a 13.9? to a constant 13.20 just from the slick. just by doing a quick little burn.
I have Mickey's on my GTP...just because I have had good luck with them on my camaro, as well as S10.
What year was those 15'' rims from? I have found running a 15'' rim gives you way more tire size options.
you can get 15" steelies from a Grand Am.... they still work.
I run Hoosiers 26X9.5X16 I have mine on mustang wheels but the fit on Tstars
i want some slicks badly... but i dont know if i could find them for my 17 inch bullitts
