I'm stuck on a few choices wheel wise, i figured i'd get some opinions for the hell of it...

    The Eagle 192s...

    American Racing Fusions...

    American Racing Aeros...

Not sure what I want. I either want 16x7 or 17x7, no bigger. My other GP has the Eagle 192s on it in 16x7. I'm thinking about just running those and throwing stock torque stars back on it, but I hate ugly ass torque stars so much! Not sure what to do there. Here is my black car with the EA 192s...

Those are my favorite styles. Has to be 5 spoke, chrome, not too heavy and no bigger than 17x7...

get bigger rims! 17s with thick spokes look gawdy. so if anything, get the 192s.

I like the 192's. So send me the money you were going to spend on the new rims and call it a day.

Shawn is there any reason you dont want to go to a 8" wide rim?
The car will handle better or are you worried about rubbing issues?

No bigger than 17s, just personal preference. Depending on the wheel 18 can look too big IMO. If anything, if I went 18s the car would look like a truck and I'd have to lower it to make it look right. I've tried the lowering route once before, i'm not doing that again ever, it wasn't worth it, I don't care how good the car looked.

17s with the correct size tires (like may dad did on his 00 GT) looks perfect and its the same height as a stock 16x7 rim wearing a 225/60/16. Thats the look i'm going after.

So far everyone likes the 192s, I'll admit they were my favorite too.

As for getting an 8" rim, won't 8" and 9" rims have rubbing issues? I don't believe 192s come in 8" or 9" unfortuneitly....

exactly, but it depends more on the offset of the wheel. i am going to be running 17x9 cobras with a +24mm offset. they will stick out a little i think, but i dont mind it.

Shawn the only reason i had rubbing issues is i was lowered but i stopped it with spring blockers in the back. I ran 245/45/18. So with the combo of yo not being lower and not going as tall on a wheel i dont fore see you rubbing at all unless you have the trunk and back seat weighted down
