I have read the sticky wheel post and through some of the posts. I get more confused the more I read. Sorry I have cognitive issues.

What I am looking for are a nice set of new black steel rims in stock size for my 07 Grand Prix GT. From what I have read the stock size of these are 17 x 7.5 and have a lug pattern of 5/115mm. I am confused on the offset aspect of the rims.

I am going to put on new stock tires Falken G5 225/55/17. I want steel rims because the roads around here demolish the alloy. And the weak aftermarket alloy rims will probably get obliterated from the pot holes here. I was looking at the stock rims Friday and one of them have a decent bend, two of them have cracks and another has a previous repair. I looked into getting them repaired and it is just as much money as a new rim.

Does anyone have any recommendations on some decent looking steel wheels for these cars? All I really see are the Dorman type in this size.

71.5 is the diameter of the center bore, which is the hole in the middle of the wheel. 20 is the offset, which is the distance from the surface where the lug holes are to the middle of the wheel. Both are in mm.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the stock numbers for the 225/55/17 tire size should be?
