The stock rims on my car are disgusting to me anymore and Ive looked around at some different ones havnt coughed up the money for any yet.
Wondering if anyone has pics of colored rims on there car and any suggestions?
My boyfriend is absolutely against colored rims. But I think they would look nice if I had that color accenting througout my car.
Again any suggested they would be greatly appreciated.

color as in like colors or black/white/grey/etc.?

most around here are straight up anti JDM stuff, so you wont find anyone with color matched wheels for the most part. i am doing my thing to try and get people to try it considering i think it looks good when done tastefully.

well TQ star wheels almost look silver. So I dont see the point in color matching them silver.

Only left is the every so played out black or black with a red lip..

before you put colored rims i suggest lowering the car. after that, hell ya. colored rims do look nice. i am still wondering about putting red rims on my GP.

Ridin ON Chrome. I DONT want to have silver rims. The point is to find a nicely put together colored rim to coordinate with my car throughout. I thought about a purple color or blue.....I love Lime Green but I know for a fact it would look stupid to me.

As for Bio248. Like I said in the post before I would like a purple or blue color possibly...still looking through some diff options. Black maybe I know my bf would love it but keeping it clean wise idk If I do go through with this idea it will be done tastefully trust me. & pics will be posted

MiriV. So how low should I go? My bf has a lowered Colorado and I just cringe when it scrapes on something & it keeps you from driving to certain places or going certain places. I think Red would look sick if you have some sort of black on it also like the Lip or center part.

whatever you do it has to be a very high gloss color and their has to be other accents to go with it, not just the wheels.

Low enough not to have gigantic wheel arches. And the rim should have a low enough offset so it isnt sitting inside like a mad man. Its hard to make a car look good on colored rims...

for example this silver evo w/ dark blue rims look sick.

the problem with our cars is we cant get that low unless on bags or coil overs, plus with the way our fenders or shaped it doesnt look with some 18x9 rims on some strecthed 235 tires like EVOs, benz, civics, etc..

Lime Green w/the silver would look good if done right IMO. Silver rims w/lime pinstripe on edge of rim and thin lime pinstripe, maybe even a twotone pinstripe lime/purple for example could look good. You can always take it off if you don't like it.

Well I def wont be puttn white on there I very much dislike any white on any vehicles unless its very little but with it being on the tires it would be a b*tch to keep clean. Ive thought about a deep purple color then put it throughout the rest of my car with a brighter color inside too. But keep it dark outside.
