Hey guys I'm looking for good sticky tires that won't break the bank and will fit stock torque stars 16x6.5 I saw these if anyone has experience or any other suggestions let me know. Thank you.

Not sure about that tire but the TOURING LST Sumitomos were a decent tire for the $. Belle Tire manager said there were few warranty claims also(on LST) .

When I bought my Lancer it had, and still has, Sumitomo A/S. They are alright. Seem to have a little bit of road noise associated with them though. I probably wouldn't buy them again.

I'd suggest other tires but they could work. For 75 bucks though, I wouldn't expect the world out of them.

Nankangs is something I'd run before those for just a summer only tire.

You got to PAY to play... You just aren't getting your "STICKY" tires on the cheap, sorry to bust the bubble. Want to go sticky tires, expect $150+ per (minimum)... And that's just the way it is. Don't cheap out though, rubber meets the road makes or breaks everything else you do. Spend a couple grand tightening suspension and put cheap tires = big fat '0'

also, what FFDP said... Pay less, just don't expect them to perform. Again, there no unicorns to find, the soft compounds in tires that grab like glue will cost you, and they wear pretty fast too, so compound the cost by replacing often. I got just shy of 20k out of my last Portenza's, but I drive aggressively and have an agressive alignment to match. I'm ok with that...

Ya I wasn't looking for unicorns just tires that would have decent grip compared to my cheap a/s that are currently on the car. Thank you though for all your input guys

Go Portenza's, you'll love them! A bit more $ but we'll worth it in my opinion.

I was looking at some the other day but didn't see any in the regular 225 60 size we can run 235 55 right?

225/60's are pretty tall. I would go 225/50's, will look a bit small. I don't like the stock rim size on these cars and feel the 18" is perfect.

    ; )

You can find any size you need if you want to ship from like TireRack or others. Then there's added cost for local mounting and balancing.
