Hey guys I'm going to be buying some new rims and I always thought that with a bigger rim and a smaller less sidewall tire the handling would improve. I'm just curious if it's a noticeable improvement or not really. Going from a 60series to a 45 series tire to be exact. 45 I believe is correct for 18" rims. Thanks

Handling doesn't really change with different wheels, it's more a fact that a shorter sidewall doesn't roll and allow the movement of a taller sidewall. Rest of the suspension plays into how the car handles as well.

It will feel more nimble due to less sidewall flex. But over all it doesn't improve handling

Got any tires picked out yet? Weather checked Eagle GT's were on when I bought it. I chose some BFG Comp2 A/S, which are great so far.

Have fun with the search and new look!
