Has anyone tried the 18x7 rear GXP wheels with 55mm offset on the front of your GP? I was wondering if I ran a 225 tire, would I still clear the spring/strut asm. The wheels are for sale with no tires currently on them. TIA

18x7 isn't wide.
That is the factory rear rim size on the GXP's, which did come stock with 225's. The front's are 18x8 with 255's.
They didn't even rub when I ran 275's.
It'll fit just fine.
I'd go find either a full set of rears or a full set of fronts, nothing staggered. That's dumb.
I realize GXP rear 18x7 (55mm offset) is only 1/2" wider than stock 16x6.5 (52mm offset). GXP fronts have only 40mm offset, so I see how you could run a bit wider tire with those. I was more concerned that using the rears with 55mm offset on the front would be close, being that it's a 1/2" wider as well. Does that make sense? Thanks for your input blueguy!
No, these are the ones I bought.
