Will 19x8.5 wheels on 245/40/19 tires and 30mm offset (1.2 in) on ssc lowering springs rub on an 04-08 grand prix

The overall diameter is fine for the speedo but with that offset and a wide rim I think it will rub in the rear for sure.

Roll your fenders and it might be alright. You'll have to test fit things to be sure.

They rub the fenders like I said. It may rub the struts but I don't know for sure with that size rim and tire combo.

My only dislike about 19's is the stupid prices they charge on tires. Running a 18x8 with a +40 offset is always a great fit on these cars.

The problem with that is the wheels I want only come 19x8.5 30mm offset and 18x8 30mm offset. They 19s with 245/40/19 will really rub against the fenders? My buddy has 20x8.5 with ssc and he doesnt rub? Didnt roll his fenders either

Why are you so against just rolling the fenders if they rub... Every car is different.. Worn suspension plays a part. Just roll them if they do rub just because X or Y didn't rub doesn't mean you won't but if you do you know what to do to fix your issue.

those should be fine, but as mentioned you might need a fender roll. the rear is going to be more likely to rub.

i ran a set of wheels with about the same exact specs on eibach springs. once the fenders were rolled i was golden.

well, yes as far as clearance goes, but the 19x8.5s are going to look much better (obviously style dependent).

what do you have against rolling the fenders? you can easily gain enough clearance with a heat gun and a rubber mallet to get away with this and it'll only take you about an hour of your time...

No I have nothing against rolling renders, but obviously if theres a size that I like that requires nothing to be done I would prefer it. But I am most likely going with the 19x8.5 and roll the fenders. Is there any professional places that do it, I dont wana mess it up lol

most body shops can do it and some performance shops that do lots of wheel/tire setups can do it, too.

it's super easy to do by yourself, though...

Hairdryer doesn't produce near the heat from a heat gun, use the right tools or head over to the Honda forum after you trade in your Grand prix.

you can pick up a heat gun for under $20, my guy. go to the store.

but we're also just guessing at this point. you won't know if you rub until you put them on or if you spend a couple hours taking really exact measurements.

Nah Id rather not be a ricer. Ive just heard that you can use hair dryers for a couple aplications that require heat guns. Ill just buy a heat gun then, thanks

    Wrong bolt pattern there 5x120

Yours is 5x115 but 5x114.3(4.5) would work
