So I have a place I was going to go for a dyno day and I called and spoke with a guy a few weeks ago and everything was cool. He told me to call again for the official list, "just to make sure". Now the guy says well we bumped you off and decided to only let cars with 1000 hp or more run on the dyno. It was $40 is what I was told before, and now they tell me your more than welcome to watch. Thanks but I really don't care about other peoples cars and I am not driving my ass all the way over there for that unless my car gets dynoed. Well you can bring it by any other time and it's $125 a pull. For a single pull? How are you supposed to get any relevant numbers from a single pull? I asked about tuning and they were just like it's $750 for a single tune and $40 for any changes, then they say we don't do V6's. Really? but you do 4 bangers that are almost stock? I asked what would happen if they messed up my PCM and he said well that's the chance you take. So I ask if I get my $750 back and they said well that's a lot of R&D and we don't work for free. Really so If you brick my PCM you are going to want me to pay you $750? Told him he must be high.

Yeah that's kinda messed up. The fact that they're only allowing 1000+hp cars that day is bs. How many of those could there possibly be?

And $125 for a single pull is really expensive. I got 3 for $90 at a crappy shop here plus $20 for each additional one. Any shop that doesn't stand by their work and tells you if they brick your PCM too bad isn't worth your time anyway.

You live near Houston? I'm sure there are a few more shops near you that would be happy to have your business.

I'm going to look around more, this one happens to be on my way to and from work so I thought why not. The guy said they already had 10 slots filled. One of the guys here, his son has a 1200 hp Vette that's turbocharged. When I went into their shop a few weeks ago all they had were Rear mount turbo Vettes, Camaro's and a Viper all were Turbo. They have mostly GM cars out front with a couple of Vipers.

I'm going to look around and see if I can find a better shop. I want to get a baseline before I do anything to it. I probably won't do anything to it until "winter" because I am just going to buy parts here and there for the exhaust. Brakes upgrades are going to be soon. IC is in the design process, and I just had a leak in the downstairs ceiling I am going to have to deal with tonight, that's going to be fun. Drywall is not my strong area, hopefully my the blood of my ancestors will cause me to go into a trance and just sheetrock like a pro. Lol.

    Dayum, it's 75 for 3 pulls here.

And half the time you get 5-6 pulls because they try to get the dyno to read everything correctly.
