It should be noted. When I got my ticket, I had just hopped into the car, as a cop passes by, and turned it on... anyone who rushes off to class late, knows you aint thinkin about ANYTHING when your the one footing the bill other than gettin your arsh into that plastic seat in front of the teacher. So, I flip the key into "start" and the cd auto-plays, and cop reverses from the light (about 20 feet away), and has me get out, do the whole license, registration thing... shut all my windows, stand 50 feet from the car, and has me leave the volume where it is at... and if they can "hear" the music then its a ticket...

I personally and honestly didn't hear a thing minus my bass, but im on a 4-6 lane street street, with a bunch of college kids cars, parked both sides... I mean, what am I disturbing? What bugs me is like when its 3am, (I live in the projects), and when someone pulls up, lets say in a Fire/Orange Charger R/T, blasting ear drum breaking decibels, that cause the mtn. Dew in my glass on my night table to erupt like I dropped a vibrator inside the glass.... It kinda drives ya nuts.. like GTX said... Road is fair game... but when you pull up to your destination, at least cut it down to within a 5 foot only hearing radius of your vehicle. I don't mind when someone hops out a car, and I can hear the voices, or whatever, but when your bumping, and its 3am, or your outside a classroom, and your windows are up, off the road, we shouldn't hear your music... If your idling, ok, Engines I don't mind.. (unless your REALLY rice..) but I just figured some people need to respect the quiet... People will notice you if you have a nice ride, and if you want to be heard that badly, take it to the track... not to "club Walmart"

you might wanna look into a new headunit? is yours older? a lot of the newer ones have a volume reset. my last one didnt and i hated that. you'd have it cranked when you drive home when you get there you turn it down thinking its low (since your used to the high volume). wake up in the morning get in your car and BOOOMMM wasn't as low as you thought. now when i start the car it automatically starts at a low volume. and i live in the boondocks so i dont have to worry about the cars driving by. but when i stay at a friends or my brothers house hate when a car drives by reving and booming shaking the pictures the house.

i agree, i use to have 2 10s jl audios, but got rid of them cause i "grew" out of that stage, now if i want bass id use maybe a 10 just for a little bump, but nothing to make the trunk make that god awful rattleing noise...i work at a car wash/detail/gas station and this white kid pulls up in a van, blasting his music and subs it was really annoying need to say and it wasnt soft core rap, it was having swearing left and right and i mean come on....everyone else around you doesnt need to hear that crap especially when younger kids are walking around...pissed me right off man

And yea, I probably do need a new headunit... mine is so old the Geico Caveman guy would probably laugh at it...

Hmm.. It might save me a ticket or two... I'll look into it. Thx.

Oi... Must only be a NY thing... cuz you don't really get this from the 80's Generation, and the 90's Generation People are too busy snorting and blasting their brains out with 103.5 KTU... so... maybe its just the new College Generation like I stated... the swearing, fine, just turn it down once you've arrived at destination... My next rant will be about the idiots that add POINTLESS things to their cars...

So... The other day, it had snowed the day before, and I'm coming out of the Bodega... For those of you who live in the tri-state area, you know what that is... (too lazy to travel to Costco/BJ's)

And I spot this tricked out 7 Series BMW... you know.. the one that looks like a Hearst... Now, I'm all for tricked out cars, as long as what you have serves a purpose...

Well, to cut this long story short... I watch the driver get out with a towel... damp, and proceed to rub the salt from the ground that the garbage trucks had dumped previously the night before, off of his bumper.. at first, i didn't think much of it...

Then I noticed this Mother F***er had 10 inch TELEVISION LCD screens on the SIDES and REAR of his bumper!!!

    WHAT THE F---?!

Who the hell is going to look down at your television screens, on your BUMPER, to watch the porno/blues flick you got being thrown out of the LCD's??? I mean, this is almost as dumb as buying water proof speakers, to put on your front and rear bumper... and was annoying like those times of year when election comes around, and you get those Vans that drive around with a gazillion speakers on top of them all booming "vote for ...! They believe your wifes a wh0re!"
Come ON!!! HOW the HELL pointless could car modification get?! Its kind of almost as pointless as buying a 2 seater Coupe, and putting TV's in the headrests.... might as well as pop in the video your wife and you did of your honeymoon escapades, and let us enjoy the bumper to bumper Rush hour traffic!!!

There is my rant for the week...
