I hate cops

If someone came into my condo and tried to fuk around, would I call the cops?


Absolutely not. I would shoot the intruder center mass with my Wiley Clapp .357 with silver JHPs. Several times, in fact. Cops do nothing in this place, unless it is drink, drugs, or fukin each others wives. True story.

Where on earth are you in Ohio? I've only been pulled over twice. First officer, no personality, didn't care that I was driving through a new area and had only had my car for a week and was still getting used to it. Second officer, cool guy, understood my situation, gave me a warning.

I made my post earlier about the media bias against guns and last night I got even more proof.

A Pittsburgh new station was doing a commercial for a hype piece about "evil guns." They showed a AR-15 and they said something along the lines of "This is an AR-15, just like the gun used in the Sandy Hook tragedy and blah blah blah, something about a gun raffle"

LIES, AR-15 was NOT used in Sandy Hook, only hand guns. And just because you win a gun raffle, doesn't mean you can take possession of the gun immediately. You still have to go through a back ground check.

Don't project your failures on others. This is a fluid conversation. Thinking is involved.

This. I GUARANTEE 99% of you in here make more than a cop. Go see how many cops have two jobs. I guarantee it will be above half of them. They are paid to bear the brunt of everyones attitude, see the crappiest of things, and go into situations that no one willing will run to. Yes, I am a cop. I have 2 jobs, and considering a third. I don't do it for the money, I don't eat breathe, and sleep law enforcement. I will never get rich from law enforcement. I see both sides of the argument, but again, if you get caught breaking the law, endangering someone's life, or risking injury to someone, our job is to call you on the carpet. sorry if that ruins some peoples days. Yes, cops make mistakes, but we are human. Unfortunately some mistakes we make are fatal. The cop has to bear that for the rest of his life.

Hell.. I have been pulled over so many times, I know that officers like my SOP for being pulled over :th_laugh-lol3:

1. Pull over, don't dick around.. you know you are caught. Aim for a place that is safe for the officer when they are out of the car.
2. Put the car in park and take foot off brake. This signals you aren't aiming to run or cause a problem.
3. If night, flip on the interior lights.
4. Put the insides of your wrists on the top of the steering wheel in plain sight.
5. Sit still and give the officer a chance to run the plate and come to the window. Don't move beyond looking in the mirror/watching him approach. You don't need your registration or insurance etc. They haven't asked you for it. Moving around doesn't save time, it puts the cop on alert because you coudl be a dangerous person, they don't know you.
6. Once at the window, put it down if it was up.
7. "Good morning/day/evening, officer"
8. Tell the truth, Cops hear every excuse in the book. I told probably 50 cops I was doing 50+ in a 30-35 zone. When they ask why "trying to make time....get home.. get sleep.. " whatever the actual reason was.
9. Once they've run your info and are letting you go. A have a good day/night, thank you etc are good. Afterall, I was breaking the law and they aren't penalizing me for paying their salary to enforce said laws.
10. As soon as the cop flips around and heads the other way.. get right back up to speed. :th_thumbsup-wink:

just like police... emt's.. like myself is a newly one... people hate us too. but not probably as much as people dislike the police. we are there to try and save if we have to and to serve you.

Honestly I would need to be paid a lot more than $50,000 a year to go out everyday with the potential of being killed by some crazy person. I give cops credit for doing what they do and for the most part have no problems with them except when they are having a bad day and take it out on the public. Lucky for me I've never really experienced that but I have friends who have. Granted I dont really know what all was said though.

Definitely not paid enough if you ask me. Cops tend to always have to see the bad side of people. Its unfortunate that anybody has to deal with that. A friend of my dads actually ended up leaving the force because he got tired of always seeing the bad that people could do. I give props to those who can do it day in and day out.
